Fun & Engaging Virtual Piano Lessons for Children Aged 8+

Has your child expressed an interest in learning the piano? Perhaps they are a complete beginner, or maybe they have previously had lessons and would like to start playing again?

I am a qualified and experienced piano teacher based in Aberdare, and I teach piano using Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, or Skype.

Online learning helps to cater to everyone and allows students to be flexible which is something that traditional in-person education is unable to offer. Lessons are given on a one-to-one basis, and are suitable for children age 8+.

Your child doesn't need to have any musical knowledge to begin lessons with me - all that's required is a piano/keyboard, and a smartphone, tablet or computer.

Online Piano Lessons for Children

Fun and engaging online piano lessons that your child will love! They can sit digital piano exams to gain recognised qualifications, or simply learn for enjoyment.

Remote Piano Tuition for Kids

Each session is designed in advance and tailored to the student’s individual needs, with a varied repertoire to keep things interesting. Within just a few lessons, your child will have learnt how to read basic music and play songs using both hands together!

I keep a Progress Log for every student which I update at the end of each lesson, helping them to track their progress over time, and consolidate their learning.

During their piano lessons with me, your child will receive a complete musical education including (but not limited to) the following areas:

Learn for Enjoyment or Gain Qualifications

Learning piano is such a rewarding and enjoyable activity for children providing them with a complete musical education, and they have the option of sitting digital piano exams to gain qualifications without even needing to leave home!

I teach music theory and sight reading alongside the piano to give students a good basic knowledge, so that they understand as we go along, enabling them to become a better pianist and all-round musician.

My students love learning to play music in different styles including classical, jazz, blues, pop/chart, Disney, Christmas, and movie soundtracks.

My Zoom piano lessons are designed to help your child grow as a musician while developing skills that will serve them for life.

Trinity College Digital Piano Exams

I am able to enter students for digital Trinity College Piano and Theory exams to gain qualifications, and I have a 100% pass rate. Each successful candidate receives an official certificate recognising their achievement.

Many students like to sit exams, however this is optional as not everyone needs or wants to take exams. I welcome students who simply want to take up the piano as a hobby.

I aim to motivate and guide my students towards success, however I also want you to have fun – I’m here to make the learning process easier and more enjoyable!

"I've seen amazing progress in my daughter's piano skills since she started with Jayne, Her love for music has grown and she has come on leaps and bounds. Jayne's online piano lessons on Zoom are a great option for young musicians to learn and improve with a supportive tutor who is very knowledgeable."
